CO-OPERATIVE LEARNING STYLE : PEER TUTORING
Peer-tutoring otherwise called Peer-learning is a teaching strategy in which learners work in pairs or groups to provide each other support that in-turn enhance learning. It is a flexible method. Retention capacity of the student is good when this method is practised. Social interaction is developed through this method.
In Loyola College of Education, we had modified version of Peer-tutoring. Here we were given chance to observe the peers teaching , therefore the observer can learn the teaching methodology used by the peer and it paved the way for exchange of ideas and planning a way for better teaching as well as constructive feedback is given so that it helps them to improve further.
Following are the photographs taken when I observed my peer teaching,
