Diet authorities requested LCE to send its students to conduct a survey on the Yennum Ezhuthum project. LCE endorsed the diet and supplied 61 willing students to participate in the poll. I am one of 61. We were sent to many schools in different zones of Chennai to assess the project's effectiveness. It was ten days of fieldwork. It was a terrific experience meeting and surveying students. Finally, we received a certificate and remuneration from diet. Following are the photographs of the event,

Sports activity help in maintaining physical fitness and develops healthy competitive spirit in participants. Involvement in team sports teaches students cooperation, unity, teamwork. Sports day is annually conducted in LCE. It was a great opportunity participating in various events. I participated in few events and won prize. It was an heart-warming moment receiving prize from the chief guest, Mrs. Meena Rajesh, Sub-Inspector of police. Her life experience shared was motivating and exhilarating which made to desire big things in life.   

Bringing education where ever you want or need  is the basis of online courses. It is a web-based learning. There are many providers for MOOC courses such as , coursera, edX, alison, swayam etc., It is one of the most convenient and flexible method of learning at your own pace.  Enrolling in a online course is a part of B.Ed. curriculum and the completion of course is must before third semester. Among various providers of MOOC course I chose swayam launched by HRD and Government of India to provide a platform for learners across globe to enhance their learning journey. Swayam courses are free of cost for any learners, if the learner wish to appear for exam and receive the certificate, examination fee is collected. After the successful completion of the exam e-certificates will be provided.  I enrolled in "Developing soft skills and personality" course offered by IIT Kharagpur.
