CHIRSTMAS DAY CELEBRATION

On 23rd of December, Christmas was celebrated at Loyola College of Education. On behalf of celebration cultural program was conducted. I organised certain parts of the program. The program started at 10 A.M and got over at 1 P.M. Cake was given as symbol of joy to take home the sweet essence of celebration.

  AIM:    To determine the understanding of the subject through demonstration method.    To determine students’ level of interest towards subject while implementing demonstration method. CONTENT OUTLINE: Burning of candle involves both physical and chemical changes. During burning, the wax melts. Here, the wax has changed from solid to liquid state. This is a physical change. The wax near the wick of the candle burans and gives new substance like CO2, carbon soot, water vapors, heat etc., this is a chemical change. PROCEDURE:   The teacher explains the characteristics of physical and chemical change.     After explanation the teacher lights the candle and allows the candle to burn for some time.
