Children with Special Needs (CWSN) are individuals who have some form of disability and require special care and assistance. These children's specific needs are determined by their impairment. CWSN's Special Needs may involve frequent medical tests, hospitalisation, equipment, and disability modifications. The conditions and limitations of CWSN can be categorised into four major categories: Physical  Sensory. Developmental,  Behavioural or Emotional To experience out of college learning, to grasp the teaching approach of exceptional children, and their learning process we were given the opportunity to visit a special education school. We went to Little Flower Convent Higher Secondary School for the Deaf, Dumb, and Blind. It was a life-changing experience that completely took over my heart.  The images from the visit are shown below.  

  On 2nd February , 2023 Red Ribbon Club and Health and Hygiene Committee organized a "Blood Donation Camp " in collaboration with the Tamil Nadu DR. MGR University, Guindy. A day before the camp we were asked to eat and sleep well. The medical team included 3 doctors and 7 volunteers. The program started at 10:15 A.M in the morning. Orientation regarding the donation of blood , its screening process, separation of blood components etc., was given. At the end of orientation there were doubt clearing session. The organizer arranged juice and biscuits as energy boosters for donors.  In the end, the doctor thanked the donors , motivated and encouraged them by telling benefits of blood donation and requested them to frequently be a part of such programs.   Every year Pongal is celebrated at Loyola College of Education. I am grateful to be  a part of it. I and II years together celebrated. Pedagogy wise preparation of sweet Pongal was done. Later games and cultural program was organized. Following are the photos taken at Pongal celebration

Loyola Institute of Business Administration conducted a leadership training program to inspire and build good leader of the future. I thank Loyola College of Education for providing me the opportunity to take part in the program. Great personalities spoke on the day. It was a complete power pack and inspired me a lot. On 23rd of December, Christmas was celebrated at Loyola College of Education. On behalf of celebration cultural program was conducted. I organised certain parts of the program. The program started at 10 A.M and got over at 1 P.M. Cake was given as symbol of joy to take home the sweet essence of celebration. Following are the photographs,

Sharing love is one of the most essential things during Christmas.  There is nothing as good as the spirit of giving and caring for others especially the needy. LCE also shares the love and care towards the least brethren during Christmas season in the name of Good Samaritan Charity. Charity is collected in the form of cash or utility products and distributed to orphanages, old-age homes, unprivileged and special children. I am indeed grateful to the institution for giving me the opportunity to take part in distributing the offerings to the people who are in need of it.    Following are the photographs of the event,

Diwali is an important religious celebration in Hinduism.  It represents the spiritual "victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance". It was a great chance to celebrate the Diwali festival on campus. I thoroughly enjoyed the cultural program. It was indeed an amazing experience with friends and professors.
